Admissions
We will be hosting an Open House at the School on Tuesday, March 27 from 5 to 7pm.
2012-2013 applications are now available. We will be admitting mostly rising 6th grade students, but will accept applications for 6th-8th graders. Families interested in having their child attend the School must fill out an application (available at the School, or by e-mailing us). As part of the application they will sign a waiver for the School to obtain all transcripts and other pertinent records, e.g. any medical or psychological testing which may help the School better know their child. Parents must also commit in writing to do all that they can on their part to help ensure the success of their child and the School. While the School reserves the right to admit whomever it chooses, the following are important criteria:
- Demonstrated economic hardship
- Siblings of a child already admitted to the School
- Residency in the Church Hill area
- The male-female balance of a particular class
- Whether the School believes it will be able to serve the student well
Depending on the number of applicants, a lottery system may be used to determine admission.
